How to send your Gallery submissions

The most important things to bear in mind when you send a gallery entry is to tell us how the image was made, and to give it a proper name. Even if, on the disc, it's called "Picture1", give it a name in your readme file.

The readme file is really important. In addition to the AF_Readme that has your name, address and the disclaimer text, you should also include a readme that other readers will see (they won't see the AF_Readme, that's kept in a vault in Amiga Format central). Describe your picture and use a spell checker if you can - remember, this readme will be seen by thousands of Amiga users.

Lastly, remember that your images are destined for print if they are good enough, so the bigger the better they'll come out on the page. If they are rendered this is easy to achieve by just choosing a larger resolution to render at.

The last thing is to make sure that the brightness on your monitor isn't set too high because it will result in your picture being very dark on everybody else's monitor. Make sure that black on your screen really is black and not some shade of grey.
